Return Policy

How On-Demand Printing Works:
Unite Black and White operates our online storefront through the E-Commerce platform Shopify. All products are created by an online supplier individually when you order them. Unite Black and White does not get to inspect the products for quality before they are shipped to you.  We have selected Printful as our online supplier because of its strong reputation for delivering high-quality products on time.  However, mistakes occur in this human process.  We will do our best to resolve quality issues quickly.  If you have an issue with your product, please follow the steps below to obtain a replacement or a refund. 

We appreciate your support for this worthy cause and want to get these products to you so you can help spread the message of unity worldwide.  We are a small operation, but we will do our best to follow the policies outlined below expeditiously and communicate with you effectively. 

Free Replacement or Refund due to Defects:     
What is considered a defect (Eligible for Free Replacement or a Refund):

  • Printing Errors: Misaligned prints, blurred images, incorrect colors, or missing elements of the design.
  • Garment/Item Damage: Torn fabric, holes, broken zippers, or stains on the garment.
  • Embroidery Flaws: Improper stitching, loose threads, or incorrect thread colors.
  • Incorrect Item: Receiving a different size, color, or product than what was ordered.
  • Damaged in Transit: Items damaged during the shipping process.

What is NOT Considered a Defect (Not Eligible for Free Replacement or a Refund): 

  • Buyer’s Remorse: The customer changed their mind or doesn't like the product.
  • Incorrect Size Ordered: Returns for size exchanges where the product was not defective are not covered.
  • Improper Care: Damage caused by improper washing or storage.  

To Initiate a Replacement or Return: 

  1. You Must Submit Within 30 Days: Claims for misprinted or damaged items must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product. 
  2. Provide Photo Evidence: You must upload clear photos showing the specific defect for our team to review the claim.
  3. Provide the Order Number: This is required in order for us to process the replacement or refund.
  4. Will you get a Replacement or a Refund?: Printful makes the final decision whether to replace or refund the item based on the nature of the claim.
  5. How Long does it Take: Refunds usually take 5-7 business days and will be returned to the original form of payment. Replacements usually take 5-7 business days to initiate; once the replacement product is created and shipped, it takes another 7-14 days to arrive.
  6. How to Submit: Email the order number, a description of the issue, and the photos of the defect to ray@uniteblackandwhite.com.  

Items Lost in Transit are Eligible for a Free Replacement or a Refund: 
If your item doesn’t arrive, please notify the seller at ray@uniteblackandwhite.com within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date to request a replacement or a refund.  Printful will make the final decision on whether to reship or refund the item, depending on the circumstances. 

Lost or Stolen Items After Delivery (Porch Pirates): 
If the shipping company informs us that your items have been delivered to the address you provided but you do not receive them, Unite Black and White cannot be responsible for replacing them.  Please track when your products are scheduled to arrive and arrange to receive them promptly so they are not stolen or misplaced. 

What Happens if a Customer Provides an Undeliverable Address?: 
The products will be returned to Printful, and if not notified or claimed within 30 days, they will be donated to charity. Please contact ray@uniteblackandwhite.com and explain what transpired within 30 days of the scheduled delivery date.  The products may be reshipped to a valid address at no charge, but this is not guaranteed. 

You will not be required to Physically Return Defective Items.  However, if you do physically return any items Please use this Address (Do not send general correspondence here):
